The City of Poway is served by two cable operators, Cox Communications and Spectrum/Charter Communications. To find out which company serves your area, or for questions regarding your cable service or bill, contact the cable company directly.

There are no exclusivity agreements that preclude competition among cable companies to provide service in a particular area. Where various cable providers offer service depends on each company’s infrastructure throughout areas of the community.

Cable Complaints

The City does not regulate cable companies, this is done at the state level by the California Public Utilities Commission (CPUC). If you are unable to resolve an issue with your cable provider, you may contact the CPUC to file a complaint.
