The November 5 General Municipal Election results were unanimously approved by the Poway City Council at the Dec. 17 council meeting. The candidate for City Council District 2 receiving the highest number of votes was Tony Blain with 2,783 and the candidate for City Council District 4 receiving the highest number of votes was Jenny Maeda with 2,463. After the results were approved, the two new councilmembers took their oath of office.
