[ARCHIVED] Blue Sky Hikes: Something for Everyone

flora and trails at Blue Sky Ecological Reserve

Our Fun & Fitness hiking series that kicks off the New Year includes some of our most popular docent-led hikes, but there are plenty more opportunities to meet new friends and become immersed in the ecological wonders of Poway’s Blue Sky Ecological Reserve.

Each month Blue Sky docents offer free guided hikes that range in topics relating to the natural diversity of plants and animals in the reserve, as well as seasonal changes. No reservation is required. To participate, simply meet at the bus shelter in the Blue Sky parking lot.

To find out more about upcoming Blue Sky hikes, check out the calendar section at poway.org or the online Blue Sky activities brochure at poway.org/blueskyprograms. If you’re heading to Blue Sky, look for a list of hikes on the kiosks located in the reserve.
