Poway’s Household Hazardous Waste collection facility offers free disposal of household toxins and electronic waste for Poway residents. It’s typically open Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Visit poway.org/hazardous.
If you're doing some serious paper purging, mark your calendar for Poway's free document shredding event on May 22. There will also be e-recycling and free mulch. For more info visit the calendar listing.
