Catfish and bass are still biting. No big ones but several anglers landed 3 or 4. The best spots for cats are the log boom and Jump Off Point. The best baits are mackerel and chicken liver.
Trout season is just around the corner so it’s time to get your gear ready.
The official opening date for this year’s trout season is November 30th. IMPORTANT! Lake Poway will be closed November 29th for stocking.
When you stop by concessions to buy your permit ask about the best spots and baits. They have up to the minute information. Remember concessions closes at 4:00 PM, so come early enough to buy your permit or boat.
