Poway is under mandatory requirements from the state to reduce water use by 32%. If we fail to meet this mandate the state may impose conservation rules on our community and may levy fines of up to $10,000 a day.
On Thursday July 16, at 6:00 p.m. the City Council will discuss potential water allocations and fines to achieve the state’s mandatory 32% water reduction. The Council Workshop will be held in the City Council Chambers, located at 13325 Civic Center Drive.
