This week we present the Pomerado Community Band from 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM. PCB is a 70 member wind, brass and percussion band that has dazzled audiences around San Diego. Come and see why big band is making its way onto the big stage at Old Poway Park. The Pomerado Community Band (PCB) is comprised of members primarily from the Scripps Ranch, Mira Mesa and Poway areas of San Diego County, CA. The PCB enjoys playing a wide variety of music adapted for concert band, including: jazz medleys, classically-inspired compositions, musical scores, and much more. Summer Winds will open the show with a performance from 4:00 PM-5:00 PM. This wind ensemble group of professional musicians, music teachers and former students will be playing music from film scores, Broadway shows and more. Please arrive early to secure a spot in front of the stage. Bring your blanket or chair, picnic dinner or snack, and have a great time with family and friends. For more information call 858-668-4772.
