Old Poway Park is open for limited use. Train rides, the Museum and Wool Barn are closed until further notice. The Farmers Market, deemed an essential service as part of the stay at home orders, is open Saturdays from 8 a.m. until 1 p.m. The Boardwalk Craft Market is open Saturdays, 8 a.m. until 2 p.m. and the Nelson House is now open every other Saturday beginning September 26 from 11a.m. until 1 p.m. Please view the city’s COVID-19 update page for information about city services.
Stroll along the meandering pathways or enjoy a peaceful picnic in our beautiful park. Weekends offer the opportunity to take a ride around the park on the Poway Midland Railroad. Visitors can also tour the Heritage Museum to learn about Poway's unique history and explore the Nelson House to witness what life was like in early 20th century California. Find local and organic produce and artisan foods at our Saturday morning Farmers Market and discover unique handmade treasures made by local artists at our seasonal Boardwalk Craft Market.
