We hope you have a wonderful experience at the Lake Poway Recreation Area! For your enjoyment, we ask that you please remember the following:

• Beer and wine are permitted and can also be purchased at the Lake Poway Concession.
• Glass containers are not permitted.
• Lake Poway is a domestic water supply reservoir so there is no swimming, wading, or water contact.
• Licensed dogs are permitted on a 6-foot leash at all times. Animals must stay 100 feet from the shoreline. Please remember to clean up after your pet.
• Personal barbecues are permitted, however, they must be considered safe by city staff.
• Personal boats and float tubes may not be launched at Lake Poway, however, we have multiple fishing boats and pedal boats for rent.
• Please be kind to wildlife. Duck food can be purchased at the Lake Poway Concession. Remember to approach slowly and gently toss food on the ground or into the water.
