CIT
Lake Poway Day Camp (LPDC) offers a Counselor in Training (CIT) program for teens ages 13 to 17, for 9, one-week sessions. Each week, counselor in training teens participate and assist day camp groups as they go:
- Boating
- Create arts and crafts projects
- Explore the outdoors
- Fishing
- Hiking
- Play creative group games
- Much, much more!
The counselor in training program provides teens with the opportunity to make new friends, develop leadership and communication skills, participate in outdoor adventures, and have fun! The program is perfect for teens who have aged out of our traditional day camp, yet still want to participate in all the fun that LPDC offers! Camp hours are from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Fieldtrips and extended care will be determined by current county guidelines regarding COVID-19.
Spaces Fill Quickly
The LPDC CIT program fills up quickly each year! In order to provide an opportunity for more teens to participate in this popular program, you will have the chance to register your CIT for up to four weeks of the LPDC CIT program.
Cost
The cost for residents is $97 a week, while nonresidents pay $118 a week. This program is for teens aged 13 to 17. Up to 4 weeks of enrollment is allowed.
