Free Seasonal Special Activities

The City of Poway and Friends of Poway Seniors have partnered together to bring our older adult community a series of FREE special activities for every season! Catch up with old friends, make new ones, and warm your spirits when you join us for the following activities:   

January: Afternoon Cinema

Share a good film and great company during a special afternoon showing of The Music Man (1962). Popcorn, coffee, and hot chocolate will be provided.

Day: Thursday, January 19

Time: 12:30 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Location: Community Park, Oak Hall East

February: Sweetheart Succulents

Plant smiles and grow love while decorating and potting hearty succulents. Pots, plants, and decorating materials will be provided.

Day: Wednesday, February 8

Time: 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.

Location: Community Park, Willow Room 306

March: Irish Dance Class

Let the Irish spirit move you during this special ceili dance class. All ability levels welcome. Instruction provided by Rose Academy of Irish Dance. 

Day: Monday, March 6

Time: 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
