Old Poway Park Action Committee member, Poway Valley Garden Club, will host the Annual Standard Flower Show at Old Poway Park.

Concert bands from San Diego County and from as far away as Arizona come to the living historic village of Old Poway Park to offer a weekend of excellent music.  In celebration of Armed Forces Weekend, Old Poway Park Action Committee Members the Pomerado Community Band and the Poway Arts and Crafts Guild and the City of Poway present:

  • A FREE line up of live, patriotic music
  • Military bands finish each day’s lineup
  • Arts and crafts market
  • Snacks and refreshments available for a nominal fee

The Summer Concert in the Park Series returns to Poway and with a new sponsor! This year's program is proudly brought to you by Arch Health Partners, a collaboration between Palomar Pomerado Health and The Centre For Health Care. The series is co-sponsored by Marrokal Design and Remodeling, Country Montessori School of Poway, and the City of Poway. The annual musical lineup always includes a variety of bands that are sure to keep your feet stompin’ and your groove groovin'.

The City of Poway, along with the living history groups of the Shadow River Regulators, Cimarron Ridge Old West Productions, and the Apache Canyon Gang, present the annual Rendezvous in Poway.  This historical fair brings the 1820-1890’s to life and will include:

  • Interactive historical encampments
  • A chance to meet Mountain Men, Cowboys, Buckaroos, and more
  • Gun fighting reenactments and mock train robberies
  • Train rides for a nominal fee
  • Arts and crafts market and demonstrations
  • Be Part of the California Gold Rush and pan for gold

To complete the day’s festivities, the annual Railroad Movie Under the Stars cosponsored by the City of Poway and the Old Poway Park Action Committee will feature a traditional-style railroad themed movie, projected from the Old Poway Park Gazebo.

  • View the community Christmas tree lighting at 5:20 p.m. 
  • Watch Santa and Mrs. Claus arrive by train at 5:30 p.m. 
  • Take your picture with Santa and Mrs. Claus in Santa's Village
  • Have your face painted
  • Pet the animals at the petting zoo
  • Ride the steam locomotive train for a nominal fee
  • Make holiday ornaments to help decorate the community Christmas tree
  • Listen to live musical holiday entertainment and caroling 
  • Enjoy children’s theater and singing performances
