Dog Park

Dog Pen #2 will be CLOSED until further notice due to a water line break. Dog Pens #1 and #3 are available for use by the public. Thank you for your patience, we apologize for the inconvenience.

The City of Poway’s Park and Landscape Maintenance Division of Public Works maintains the dog park grounds.  The crews mow the grass, trim the trees, irrigate, repair gates, fill in holes, and repair water faucets.  When necessary, the landscape crews close one area at a time for aerating, fertilizing, and reseeding.

Community Services schedules and supports activities at the park and coordinates operation of the lights during the evenings.

Park visitors are responsible for one of the most important maintenance activities – cleaning up after their dogs.  Working together we can keep the park clean and healthy for pups and people alike.  Plastic bags are supplied by Park and Landscape Maintenance for the cleanup process.
