On November 11, 2010, Veterans Park was dedicated to the public in grand fashion. With an estimated two thousand veteran supporters on hand, the City of Poway, together with the Poway Veterans Park Committee, delivered a historic dedication ceremony. The dream and vision of Veterans Park, located on Midland Road and Adrian Street, is officially open to the public.
The Veterans Park serves as a permanent tribute to the past, present, and future veterans of the United States Military who have provided unselfish and honorable service to this country.
The Poway Veterans Park Committee, with representatives from the VFW, American Legion, Navy Fleet Reserve, and the Elks Club, will continue its fundraising campaign to complete the Wall of Honor.
