Poway, CA – The City of Poway and San Diego Folk Heritage will present Chris Clarke with Plow and Zapf Dingbats on Saturday, November 7, 2009, at 7:00 p.m. The concert will be held in Templars Hall at Old Poway Park, 14134 Midland Road. Tickets will be on sale at the door for $15.00 for San Diego Folk Heritage members and $18.00 for general admission. All ages are invited.
Come enjoy an entertaining evening of bluegrass, folk, New Orleans jazz, Texas swing and the blues. Chris Clarke is a talented musician and singer and will be accompanied by Plow and Zapf Dingbats. Spend the first part of the performance traveling through the southern Appalachian mountains to the sounds of Plow, featuring Chris Clarke on guitar and mandolin, David Bandrowski on banjo, Doug Walker on the upright bass and Joe Pomianek on guitar. The second part of the evening will feature Zapf Dingbats as they perform swing, jazz, blues and original arrangements.
