Poway, CA – The City of Poway has learned that individuals are contacting residents requesting entrance to their homes in order to test the water quality. These individuals claim to be with Water Quality, are carrying some type of badge, and are presenting blue door hangers printed in Spanish.
The City of Poway is not conducting water quality tests. Additionally, employees of the City of Poway would not ask to enter a home. Residents are advised not to let these individuals into their homes. If approached by an individual who wants to enter your home to test your water quality, please contact the City of Poway Customer Services at (858) 668-4401 or the Poway Sheriff’s Office at (858) 513-2800.
