Classes

On-line beginning at 8 a.m. On-line registration is fast and convenient!  Mastercard and Visa are accepted.  *A charge of 50 cents will be added to each registration and waitlist request*

	Walk-in registrations are posted at the time of registration.
Mail-in We accept checks or credit cards (Mastercard or Visa).  NO CASH. Check payment: ONE CHECK PER CLASS. If a class is already full, the check for that class will be returned to you without delaying your registration for any other class.  If you prefer to receive a receipt confirming registration, please provide a self-addressed stamped envelope or e-mail address with your registration.  Registration Form Send checks and forms to: City of Poway Community Services Department P.O. Class Refunds
Full refunds will be provided for any class canceled by the City of Poway, or if the class is full. No service fee will be deducted. Partial refunds will be issued if a written refund request is received 24 hours prior to the start of the second class. A service charge of $15.00 will be deducted from the refund. No refund will be issued after the start of the second class unless verification of an emergency/extended illness is provided in writing with the request for refund. If a refund is determined to be warranted, the refund will be prorated and a service charge of $15.00 will be deducted.

Refund requests may also be submitted in person during normal business hours (Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.) at the Community Services Department, located at 13325 Civic Center Drive. If a refund is approved, a check will be processed and mailed within three weeks of the approval date. Refunds are issued are in the same form as payment was made.

Registration Priority
Registratons are made on a “first-come first-served” basis, with Poway residents (those who live in Poway city limits) having the first opportunity.  Proof of residency is required.  Non-resident registration begins two weeks later.

Assistance for ADA Participants
Facility access for all participants is important to the City of Poway and we are working to ensure that all participants, including the physically challenged, have equal access to all facilities and programs.  If you require assistance or have any questions, please call (858) 668-4580.

Contract Instructors
Independent contract instructors provide class instruction for most City of Poway classes.  Class content is the responsibility of the instructor.
